Deborah Horne

Deborah Horne has been working in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. Deborah started their career at GAMBRO Healthcare as the Director of Revenue Cycle Operations. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring profitability for 200+ multi-state Dialysis facilities. Deborah was also directly responsible for a staff of 4 leaders and 75 total FTEs. Deborah was able to formulate a cross-functional team of both operational and clinical personnel and build quality relationships that drove positive change.

In 2004, Deborah left GAMBRO Healthcare to take on the role of Revenue Cycle at Nashville Medical Group. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of 20 professionals who provided support for a multi-specialty 30-physician practice.

In May 2005, Deborah joined UnitedHealth Group as the Director of Operations. In this role, they provided services to 30+ payer clients and led a team of 8 leaders and 100 total FTEs. Deborah was also responsible for the P&L and annual budget for their department. Deborah was able to drive ROI for key payer clients by utilizing a robust rules based analytics system to identify root causes in errant claims payment. Deborah was also a change agent in multiple aspects of the business.

In April 2013, Deborah left UnitedHealth Group to join Advent Health Partners as the VP of Clinical Services. In this role, they are responsible for providing clinical services to Advent's clients.

Deborah Horne has an educational background in health information management from East Carolina University. Deborah also has three professional coding certifications from the American Academy of Professional Coders (CPC), the AAPC (CPMA), and AHIMA (RHIT).
