Rita Martins Amaral

Rita Martins Amaral's work experience includes working as an Operations Manager at Leadzai, where they are responsible for designing and managing processes to improve the tech team. Rita also serves as a project manager, managing tech sprints using Jira and assisting the product team in creating user stories. Prior to this, they worked at Doutor Finanças as an External Relations employee from 2018 to 2021. At Wall Street English Portugal, they worked as a Corporate Customer Relationship Manager from 2017 to 2018. Their first professional experience was at Mediafone, where they worked as a Sales Account. In this role, they were responsible for planning and executing the sales process, as well as managing social media and email marketing. Lastly, they had an internship at CIEJD, where they gained knowledge about European institutions and initiatives and wrote content for their website and social media accounts.

Rita Martins Amaral has a diverse education history. Rita obtained a Licenciatura degree in Jornalismo from Escola Superior de Comunicação Social, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Later, they pursued further education in the field of Relações Internacionais at Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas - Universidade Nova de Lisboa, completing their studies from 2013 to 2014.

In addition to their academic degrees, Rita Amaral has also obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Rita has a Product Analytics Certification and a Product-led Certification from Pendo.io, earned in April 2023. Rita obtained a No Code Foundations certification from One Month PM in March 2023. Furthermore, they completed a Business Analysis Foundations course from LinkedIn in February 2023. In January 2023, they acquired skills in Agile Software Development by completing the "Getting Started with Agile Software Development" course on LinkedIn. Prior to that, in December 2022, they completed the Agile Requirements Foundations course by LinkedIn. Additionally, they hold a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org, earned in December 2022. Rita Amaral also earned the Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in November 2022.

Furthermore, they have expanded their knowledge in digital transformation through the "Leading Digital Transformation" program offered by MIT Professional Education in October 2021. Prior to that, they completed the Front End Development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, API) workshop provided by SheCodes Workshops in January 2021. Lastly, they obtained the Certificate Advanced in English (CAE) - QECR C1 from Cambridge Assessment English in August 2011.
