Samir Mowla

Samir Mowla has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Samir currently serves as the Senior Director of Corporate Development at AEM since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Tan Chong International Limited where they held roles as the Deputy General Manager of Regional IT from June 2019 to April 2020 and as the Senior Manager of Regional Software Solutions from July 2014 to June 2019. Samir also worked as a Senior Associate at Blue Bridge Capital Pte Ltd from March 2013 to February 2014. Earlier in their career, Samir held various roles at Jardine Cycle & Carriage, Rocket Internet GMBH (Singapore), LTX-Credence, Credence Systems Corporation, and Citi, where they gained experience in areas such as finance, marketing, business development, and project management.

Samir Mowla earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they attended from 1997 to 2002. Later, in 2011 and 2012, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Strategy & General at the Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Prior to their higher education, Samir completed their Elementary, Middle, and High School education at the Singapore American School from 1986 to 1997.
