Cathal Mullane has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Cathal is currently the VP Engineering at AerCap, starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at GECAS from 2012 to 2021, holding various positions. Cathal was the Airworthiness & Registrations Manager from January 2018 to November 2021. Cathal started their career with a co-operative education placement at Shannon Aerospace in 2003, where they worked on process improvements and performed aircraft inspections.
Cathal Mullane attended the University of Limerick from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (hons) degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Prior to their time at the university, Cathal attended St. Fintans CBS Doon, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this educational experience.
