Neil Mooney

Neil Mooney has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Neil began their career as an Implementation Consultant at Millennium Solutions, where they provided consultancy services to clients worldwide, specifically focusing on Year 2000 and Euro conversion software tools.

Neil then moved on to work at Infoscience as a Project Manager, where they successfully implemented CRM and Service Management software for clients, including a cattle traceability system and a document management system.

Following that, Neil worked as an Implementation Consultant and Software Engineer at Advanced Systems Ireland, where they were responsible for implementing TMS Time and Attendance systems for clients, including configuration and training.

Neil then founded Mooney Consulting, where they focused on IT/IS consulting and provided assistance to organizations in their information systems and IT needs. Neil specialized in code-free InfoPath and SharePoint systems with Nintex workflows, as well as jQuery and JavaScript.

Currently, Neil is employed at AerCap as a Senior Business Analyst, working on various information system change projects. Neil'srole involves gathering requirements, liaising with external development teams and vendors, and evaluating systems.

Throughout their career, Neil has demonstrated expertise in project management, business analysis, software implementation, and consultancy.

Neil Mooney obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Galway, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Neil went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Mathematics at University College Cork in 1992-1993. In 2005-2007, Neil attended The Open University and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Information Systems. More recently, they completed a Diploma in Business Analysis at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT from 2016 to 2018. Neil has also acquired several additional certifications including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in April 2021, PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2020, and Business Analyst and Project Manager Collaboration from LinkedIn in October 2019.
