Miguel Angel Castillo

Miguel Angel Castillo, PhD, is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as VP of Technology Development and Managing Director at Aernnova Aerospace since May 2006, Miguel leads an independent engineering company within the Aernnova group, specializing in aerostructures. Prior to this role, Miguel managed projects at Aernnova Engineering, specifically directing the A380 Section 19. With previous positions at HISPANO-SUIZA, Boeing, EADS-CASA, Iberia, and Air Europa, Miguel has developed a profound expertise in structural analysis and project management. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a postgraduate degree in Science and Technology Management from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Miguel is also an active member of the COIAE, the professional institution for aerospace engineers in Spain.
