Drake Norman

Drake Norman is a Mechanical Engineer II at AeroVironment since September 2019, specializing in finite element analysis with expertise in structural, thermal, vibration, flow, and fatigue analyses for complex assemblies. Prior to that, Drake completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tulsa, focusing on desalination research and computational fluid dynamics, resulting in a published paper for the 2019 ASTFE Conference. Additional experience includes internships at CDI, where field testing and engineering drawings were performed, and at Husky Corporation, where design and troubleshooting tasks were completed. Drake holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa, as well as a high school diploma from Westminster Christian Academy.
