Bernardo Garcia

Bernardo Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2009, they worked as an Athletic Marketing Intern at Baylor University before moving on to various roles in different companies. From 2011 to 2012, they served in Strategic Planning at AES Brasil. Bernardo then took on the role of Managing Director at Deep Water Oil Services and Supplies, LLC from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they worked in Investor Relations at AES Eletropaulo from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they joined AES Tietê as an M&A and Business Development Specialist. Bernardo then transitioned to The AES Corporation in 2017 as a Merger & Acquisitions Associate. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Treasury Manager at AES Brasil before becoming the M&A and Business Development Manager until 2021. From 2021 to 2023, they held the position of FP&A, Investment Analysis, Insurance and Pension Plan Director. Currently, they are the Treasury and Investment Analysis Director at AES Brasil. Additionally, they served as a Audit Board Member at Duke Energy International, Geração Paranapanema S.A. from 2013 to 2014.

Bernardo Garcia attended Baylor University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a BBA degree in Finance. In 2013, they enrolled at Fundação Getúlio Vargas and completed their MBA degree in Gestão de Comércio Exterior e Negócios Internacionais (Foreign Trade and International Negotiations) in 2015.
