Michel Maranzana

Michel Maranzana has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy sector. Michel started their career as a Junior Business Analyst at Eletropaulo in 2004, where they developed and sold energy and tax credits products. Michel then worked at AES Tietê as a Business Analyst and later as a Senior Business Development Analyst, focusing on business development and analysis. In 2011, they joined EDP Brasil as a Business Development Specialist, responsible for prospecting, acquisitions, and divestitures of energy generation projects. Michel also held the position of M&A Specialist at EDP, where they were involved in acquisitions and divestitures in Brazil, Peru, Portugal, Spain, and China. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at EDP Brasil in various roles, including Operational Manager, Financial Controller, and Executive Manager/Head of Energy Trading. In their most recent role as Trading Director at AES Brasil, they will oversee trading operations.
