Michael Calhoun has a diverse work experience in various roles. Michael started their career in the United States Army in 2009 as an Information Assurance Technician, responsible for managing the army's cyberspace workforce. Michael then served as a Lead Information Technology Consultant at the Kansas State Department of Education, where they mentored and managed a team of consultants and provided technical support to faculty, staff, and students.

After that, they worked as a Database Analytics Technician at the Wounded Warrior Project, where they served as the organization's Qualtrics system administrator and led the integration of Qualtrics survey data with Salesforce.

Michael then joined the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts as a Database Developer, responsible for the maintenance and customization of the CM/ECF platform.

In 2013, Calhoun joined the United States Army Reserve, serving in various roles including Platoon Leader, Assistant Platoon Leader, and Company Executive Officer. Michael also served as the Director of Information Technology, leading the IT team and managing communication systems for the unit.

After their military service, they worked as a Salesforce Data Analyst at Carnegie Mellon University, where they were responsible for implementing the Salesforce Sales Cloud product for the fundraising department and developing data visualizations using various platforms.

Currently, they are working as a Solutions Engineer at Affinaquest.

Michael Calhoun completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration from The Johns Hopkins University from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued Information Technology Project Management at the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence in 2015. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Management Information Systems from Kansas State University from 2013 to 2014. Before that, they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer Science from Barton Community College from 2010 to 2011. In 2009 to 2010, they received a Certificate in US Army Signal Systems from the U.S. Army Signal Center of Excellence. In addition to their degrees, Michael Calhoun has obtained several certifications, including Salesforce Certified Data Architect, Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA), Qualtrics Gold Administrator, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, Security+, A+, and Network+.
