Our sales team is in search of it's next Sales Engineer to partner alongside our Account Executives to ultimately help close business.  As a Sales Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our business, combining your product expertise with exceptional communication skills to engage with customers and understand their unique needs. You'll work closely with our sales team to provide compelling value-based demos, support sales reps in managing free trials, and ensure our clients experience the full value of our products.

In this role, you won't just be selling products; you'll be creating meaningful relationships, acting as a trusted advisor, and turning challenges into opportunities. Whether you're presenting to a small team or a large audience, your ability to understand our customers' needs and articulate how our products will provide value in a clear and compelling way will set you apart. What You’ll Do…

  • Partner with the Sales Team to articulate the overall AffiniPay value proposition, vision and strategy to our prospective and current customers
  • Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase. Communicate MyCase’s value based on activities and work with customers on any identified issues or concerns to successful conclusion
  • Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
  • Act as a central point of contact for the sales team about product, product requirements and business fit for our prospective customer
  • Deliver product and technical briefings / presentations to potential clients
  • Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input both wins and losses
  • Proactively engage and communicate with customers and MyCase business/technical teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape
  • Train sales team on demo techniques, providing guidelines, scripts and other resources to assist in the advancement of demo skills of the entire sales team

About You…

  • 2+years of experience as a solutions engineer or similar role
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information
  • Ability to autonomously manage ambiguous situations
  • Strong interest in learning new and challenging platforms
  • Technical skills combined with significant social prowess
  • Genuine passion for customer service and an ability to troubleshoot deployments in an unknown ecosystem
  • Ability to identity and learn new technology and skills without explicit guidance
  • Capable of owning difficult situations all the way through to completion
  • Willingness to develop technical skills outside of normal working hours

Additional Information:

The total on target earnings for this position are between $85,000 - $110,000 USD annually. The salary range for performing this role outside of the US / Austin / California may differ.  AffiniPay is committed to offering competitive, fair and commensurate compensation and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and education.
