Webb Mechling

Webb Mechling currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Affinity Biosensors, focusing on Rapid AST solutions utilizing the FDA cleared LifeScale instrument since June 2025. Previously, Webb held roles as Regional Sales Director and Regional Account Manager at T2 Biosystems from July 2020 to July 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Account Manager at ELITechGroup Molecular, where responsibilities involved the Western States and included the promotion of numerous IVD, ASR, and RUO assays, as well as the Fully Automated InGenius Instrument. Earlier roles also include Molecular Sales Specialist at BD from February 2013 to April 2019, providing testing solutions in various health sectors, along with an Account Manager position at Thermo Fisher Scientific from July 2007 to February 2013. Webb earned a Bachelor of Science degree in European History from the United States Military Academy at West Point between 1993 and 1997.
