Christophe Giot

Christophe Giot has over 20 years of experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Christophe is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer & VP Clinical Affairs at Affluent Medical since October 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Terumo Europe as the Chief Medical Officer EMEA from December 2018 to July 2022. Before that, Christophe held various leadership positions at Edwards Lifesciences, including Sr Director, Head of Clinical Affairs Europe, Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies, Sr Director, Head of Global Clinical Affairs - Heart Valve Therapy, and Sr Director, Head of Scientific and Clinical Affairs EMEA & Canada, Heart Valve Therapy. Christophe has also worked at InterMune, Actelion, European Commission, Bristol-Myers Squibb, UCB, AstraZeneca, and Sanofi in different medical and clinical roles. Christophe's expertise lies in clinical affairs, scientific development, clinical research, and global medical leadership.

Christophe Giot attended the Université libre de Bruxelles from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Cardiology. Christophe also obtained an MD degree from the same university, although the start and end years for this degree are not provided.
