Matthew Plotkin

Matthew Plotkin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management, operations, and emergency services. Currently serving as General Manager at Atlantic Furniture since September 2014, Matthew oversees a team of 50 employees across multiple departments, ensures the smooth operation of daily business activities, and drives company growth through innovative strategies and partnerships. As Facilities Director in previous roles, Matthew managed significant property portfolios and led numerous high-value projects while demonstrating expertise in budgeting and compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, Matthew contributes as a Call Force Firefighter and Media Manager for the South Deerfield Fire District and has held marketing management roles that enhanced brand visibility and engagement. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst.
