Jim Rovers

Jim Rovers has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles. Jim currently serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager at AFIMAC Global since 2023. Before this, they worked as the Senior Vice President at AFIMAC Canada, holding responsibilities related to 350 corporate client accounts. Jim also served as the National Vice President-Crisis and Disaster Response, where they provided team leadership and client support in labor unrest situations. Prior to joining AFIMAC Canada, Jim worked as the Vice President at Corporate Investigation Services for 10 years. Jim'searly career includes a role as the GM at LPI. Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, crisis management, and security operations.

Jim Rovers has a diverse education history. Jim attended Fanshawe College from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a degree in Manufacturing Engineering. In 2017, they received a certificate in OSINT Investigations from IntellTechniques. That same year, they became a certified instructor in Non Violent Crisis Intervention through Crisis Prevention Institute. In 2016, Jim became a certified Social Media Intelligence Expert through McAfee. Jim also received a certificate in Business Skills for Managers from the Schulich School of Business - York University in 2011. Jim holds a B.E.M. degree in Emergency Management from George Brown College, earned in 2010. Recently, in 2020, they obtained a certificate in Workplace Investigations from Human Resources Professionals. In 2021, they received a certificate in OSINT Event and Incident Management from Sourced Intelligence. Jim has additional certifications as an ASIS Foundation Donor and an ASIS Member, both obtained in 2020.
