Christian Ezeala Ph.D.

Christian Ezeala PhD, DLitt et Phil is an accomplished academic leader currently serving as the Executive Dean and Professor at Africa University since July 2023. Previously, Christian held the position of Professor at Mulungushi University School of Medicine & Health Sciences from November 2017 to June 2023. Significant contributions to research and health education were made during the tenure as Associate Dean (Research) at Fiji National University from September 2009 to March 2014, where responsibilities included faculty development and regional capacity building in health research. Christian's academic credentials include a Doctor of Literature and Philosophy (DLitt et Phil) focused on Health Studies and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacology/Therapeutics from Abia State University, alongside extensive professional training in health sciences education and biomedical sciences. Additional roles include Chair of the Departmental Research Committee and Board Member of the Fiji Medicinal Products Board.
