Fernando Balderrama

Fernando Balderrama has a diverse work experience in the development and investment sectors. Fernando started their career as a Development Specialist at the Emerging Markets Group in 2007 and worked there until 2009. In 2010, they joined the African Development Bank Group and held various roles, including Young Professional, Senior Investment Officer, Chief Investment Officer, and currently serves as the Lead Investment Officer for Public-Private Partnerships. Fernando'stenure at the African Development Bank Group spans from 2010 to the present.

Fernando Balderrama completed their Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Economics at the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Fernando then pursued a Master of Science degree in Development Management at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2005 to 2006.
