Claudious Chikozho

Dr. Claudious Chikozho is the Director of Research at APHRC. Under his direction, the Research Division will implement the research priorities outlined in APHRC’s 2017-2021 Strategic Plan, with special emphasis on deepening knowledge and evidence in the specific signature issues for each Research Unit. He will also take the lead in exploring ways to expand our portfolio of projects and programs into new frontiers of research.

Dr. Chikozho has more than 20 years of experience in applied social science research and considerable experience in leading teams in national and international research centers. His most recent position was Director of Research at the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) in South Africa.
