Intern To The Chief Executive Officer at Aga Khan Foundation Canada

Rafeeq Kassam-Jiwani has a diverse work experience that spans across various organizations and roles. In 2021, they served as an Intern to the Chief Executive Officer at Aga Khan Foundation Canada and as a Camp Counselor at The Ismaili Canada's Mosaic camp. In 2022, they worked as a Campus Tour Guide at Bowdoin College and as a Senior Advisor at MyFLY. Rafeeq later became the Director of Communications at TedEd Club in the same year. In 2023, they joined Porte Global Consultancy as a Social Impact Mentor and Fraser Health Authority as an Advisor to Ethics and Diversity Services.

Rafeeq Kassam-Jiwani's education history begins with their enrollment at West Point Grey Academy, where they studied as a student from 2017 to 2022. Following this, they attended Bowdoin College from 2022 to 2026, earning a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. In addition, they pursued studies at The Wharton School in the field of Accounting and Finance, completing their education there in 2023.

In terms of additional certifications, Rafeeq obtained the DELF B1 certification from Diplômes et tests de français in May 2021. They also acquired the DELE A2 certification from Instituto Cervantes in April 2021. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified First Responder/Emergency/Advance Emergency Medical Technician certification from the Canadian Red Cross in January 2021.

Rafeeq also engaged in studies at The School of The New York Times, with a focus on Law, Journalism, and the United Nations, from 2018 to 2019.
