Marco Valtorta

Marco Valtorta is an experienced professional in the field of biomedicine with a strong focus on upstream GMP manufacturing and viral vector production. Currently serving as a MSAT Compliance Senior Scientist and previously as an Upstream GMP Manufacturing Specialist at AGC Biologics since October 2020, Marco's expertise includes overseeing viral vector production processes in bioreactors. Prior to this role, Marco worked as an Upstream GMP Manufacturing Technician at MolMed and contributed to gene therapy research for Parkinson's disease as a Research Fellow at Ospedale San Raffaele. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Applied Biology to Biomedical Research and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Università degli Studi di Milano, supplemented by postgraduate work at the Institute of Biomedicine of the University of Barcelona.
