Joe Balsanek

Joe Balsanek has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joe began their career in 1996 at the Minnesota Air National Guard, where they served as the Lead Inspector of Quality Assurance for the 133rd Maintenance Group until 2017. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining high-quality maintenance production and equipment reliability for eight C-130H aircraft.

In 2005, Joe joined the Mayo Clinic as a Development Technologist, a position they held until 2016.

From 2016 to 2019, they worked at MilliporeSigma as a Biomarker and Cytometry Specialist and also as an Immunoassay Platform Solutions Specialist, where they likely focused on developing and implementing solutions in these areas.

In 2019, Joe joined Luminex Corporation as a Business Manager, where they worked until 2020.

Since 2020, Joe has been with Agena Bioscience. Joe initially served as a Sales Specialist, and later took on the role of Key Account Manager, North America - West. In 2022, they became the Senior Sales Manager at Agena Bioscience for the West Region of the United States and Canada. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Manager - Business Development at Agena Bioscience, where they likely plays a key role in attracting new business opportunities and driving growth for the company.

Joe Balsanek obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Microbiology, General from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2002. Joe then pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their degrees, Joe Balsanek obtained the MB – Technologist in Molecular Biology certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology in December 2008.
