Serhii Kutsyi

Serhii Kutsyi has extensive work experience in software engineering and development roles in various domains.

Serhii started their career in 2006 at UkrCard, where they worked as a Software Engineer, developing financial data transfer systems and self-service terminal systems. Serhii also collaborated with business analysts, QA teams, and DBAs for gathering requirements, analysis, testing, and implementation.

In 2010, Serhii joined NetCracker as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed enterprise-level OSS/BSS solutions in the telecom domain. Serhii integrated multiple third-party systems and executed data migrations and ETL pipelines.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked at SPD-Ukraine as a Senior Software Engineer, designing and implementing a platform for investment professionals. Serhii also developed data pipelines to provide company signals such as social media growth rate and employee growth rate.

At Qvantel, Serhii held multiple roles. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and designed and implemented OSS/BSS solutions in the telecom domain. Serhii utilized Scala for implementing core domains and wrote fast ingestion requirements for Cassandra.

Later at Qvantel, they transitioned to the role of Software Architect from 2019 to 2021. In this position, Serhii designed and implemented end-to-end mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) solutions. Serhii led integration with payment providers like Stripe and Conekta, managed MVNO solution delivery, and handled release management and troubleshooting.

Currently, Serhii is working at Agena Tech as a Technical Lead. In this role, they are responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions in the HealthTech domain. Serhii has developed a comprehensive platform integrating AI analysis of patient-therapist interaction, including emotion detection in text or video streams. Serhii has also implemented data ingestion for custom wearable devices and iOS devices, enabling the collection of sleep phases or heart rate data.

Serhii Kutsyi began their education in 2002 at the Insurance Economic College attached to the National Aviation University. Serhii pursued a degree in Programming for electronic computers and automated systems, although the specific field of study is unknown. Serhii completed their studies in 2006.

Subsequently, from 2006 to 2011, Serhii attended the Open International University of Human Development "Ukraine" and obtained a degree in Software automated systems. The field of study for this degree is also unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Serhii has acquired several certifications. In August 2021, they completed the course "Deploying to AWS with Terraform and Ansible" at A Cloud Guru. In May 2020, they obtained the "Amazon EKS Deep Dive" certification from Linux Academy.

Looking ahead, Serhii has plans to obtain further certifications related to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Serhii aims to complete the "AWS Certified Security - Specialty" certification, the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate" certification, and the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional" certification in March 2023.
