Elaine S.

Elaine S. is an experienced professional in the field of analytical sciences with a focus on mass spectrometry. As the Associate Director at Agenus since March 2021, Elaine leads the Mass Spectrometry group and manages LCMS projects for biomolecule analyses from discovery to pre-BLA, while also supporting regulatory filings. Prior to this role, Elaine served as Principal Scientist at Charles River Laboratories from October 2016 to February 2020, where responsibilities included leading biologics characterization and analytical development for novel modalities, as well as managing direct reports. In earlier positions, Elaine specialized in characterizing various biomolecules, including AAV capsid proteins, antibodies, and glycopeptides, utilizing advanced mass spectrometry techniques.
