Jason Yang

Jason Yang is a co-founder and vice president of Aggie Sports Analytics, where innovative coding opportunities are created to integrate sports and technology at UC Davis. With experience as a technical project manager, Jason led teams to develop a full-stack application for ranking NBA players and an interactive dashboard for analyzing fan sentiment using natural language processing. Previous internships include a software engineer position on the Product Growth Team at Atlassian and a role in quantitative development at NEW EIC, where comprehensive analyses of MACD strategy buy points for S&P 500 tickers were conducted. Additional experience includes serving as a certified lifeguard and handling maintenance at Cupertino Hills Swim & Racquet Club, along with retail sales duties at Nike. Jason Yang is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of California, Davis, expected to graduate in 2025.
