Steve Beckman

Steve Beckman has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Steve started their career as an Account Manager at Wave Technologies in 2003, followed by a role as an Account Executive at Inter Tel Technologies. In 2005, they became an Independent IT Consultant, providing IT consulting services on a freelance basis. In 2007, they worked as a Systems Analyst at Veramark, where they provided technical support to clients and implemented reporting solutions. Steve then transitioned to a role as an Instructor at ComputerTraining.com, where they imparted their knowledge to students. In 2009, they joined Exelis as a Senior Systems Engineer, leading various projects until 2013. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Vectrus as a VMware-Data Center Storage Engineer and lead. Steve then took a break and traveled as a vacation from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they joined CACI International Inc as a VMware/Storage Engineer and later became an Enterprise System Administrator - Lead at Agile Defense, Inc in 2020. In this role, they maintained VMware, Cisco UCS, and NetApp Storage services and upgraded the VMware environment.

Steve Beckman has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Network Design and Management from WGU, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Steve also attended Colorado Technical University from 2006 to 2007, where they studied programming and networking. In 2006, they received the MCDST certification from Global Knowledge in the field of IT. Prior to this, from 2003 to 2004, they studied IT with a focus on Microsoft at Wave Technologies. Steve'searliest educational experience was vocational training in Electrical/Electronics at GAVC from 1997 to 1999. In terms of certifications, Steve has obtained various certifications from VMware, ISC2, CompTIA, and Microsoft, including VCP-DCV 5.5, CISSP, Security+, MCITP, MCT, MCSE, MCTS, MCDST, and MCP.
