Roopak Karulkar

Roopak Karulkar has worked in a variety of roles in the field of robotics. In 2014, they began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the Next Gen Systems Group at the University of Texas at Arlington. In 2016, they moved to the Aerospace Systems Lab at the same university as a Graduate Researcher. In 2017, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Arlington. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Robotics, Optimization, and Assistive Mobility (ROAM) Lab at the University of Notre Dame. Roopak is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Agility Robotics.

Roopak Karulkar attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Roopak then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, which they completed in 2022.
