Davinder Gill has worked in a variety of roles for a number of companies. In 2021, they began working as an Assistant Manager of Business Development for AGNEXT and as a District Manager for Efaarms India Ltd. In 2020, they were a Territory Sales Manager for Frontline Agri Science. In 2019, they were a Marketing Manager for Godrej Agrovet Limited. In 2017, they were a Team Supervisor for Apata Group Limited. Finally, in 2013, they were an Agriculture Consultant for the Department of Agriculture and Co Operation India.

Davinder Gill completed a Graduate Diploma in Natural Resources Conservation and Research from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Agriculture Hons. from Khalsa College Amritsar between 2011 and 2013.
