John Medcalf

John Medcalf currently serves as the Director of Innovation for North America at Agrati Group, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, John accumulated significant experience at Field Fastener from December 2009 to June 2022, where responsibilities included serving as Principal Engineer and Engineering Team Leader, focusing on cost reduction and quality improvement through technical assistance. Additionally, John held the position of Applications Engineer, contributing to similar initiatives. John also worked as a Principal Engineer at Peak Innovations Engineering from November 2015 to June 2022, specializing in the design, testing, and validation of bolted joints. Earlier career experiences include a role as Motor Sports Team Leader at Brian Bemis Motor Sports and in sales at TUF Powersports. John Medcalf earned a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University.
