Milenka Coronel Samey

Milenka Coronel Samey has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Milenka began their career at Fairfax County Government in 2007 as a Computer Center Lab Aide. In 2009, they worked for Edu-Futuro as a Marketing Coordinator/ELP Assistant. From 2010 to 2012, they served as an Academic and Leadership Coordinator at Tenants and Workers United. In 2012, they joined AHC Inc. as a Resident Services Coordinator and later transitioned to roles such as After School Program Specialist, College and Career Readiness Manager, and finally Senior College and Career Readiness Manager. Additionally, Milenka was also a Mentor at Northern Virginia Aids Ministry from 2006 to 2013.

Milenka Coronel Samey's education history includes earning a Certificate in College Advising from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Maryland in 2008. In 2006, they completed an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Northern Virginia Community College.
