Fouzul Hassan

Fouzul Hassan has a diverse work experience that includes roles in teaching, information management, software engineering, and research analysis. Fouzul worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the Informatics Institute of Technology, where they instructed modules in Data Visualization & Communication and Data Engineering. Fouzul also contributed to the academic development of students pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Business Data Analytics. At AIESEC in Sri Lanka, they served as the Head of Information Management, responsible for overseeing technical infrastructure management and data protection. Fouzul developed dashboards and automation solutions, leading a software development team responsible for managing key software products. As a Software Engineer at Seamless C, Fouzul led client projects, managed two products, and designed and developed a GraphQL API. In addition, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at SLIIT and as a Research & Data Analyst at brax Marketing.

Fouzul Hassan obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Big Data Analytics from Robert Gordon University in 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Data Science from SLIIT, from 2019 to 2023. In addition, they earned a Certificate in Quantum Computing from The Coding School during 2020-2021. Fouzul also obtained certifications in Introduction to Data Studio from Google in June 2021, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence from the University of Helsinki in 2021, and Introduction to SQL from DataCamp in 2020.
