Jan-Willem Peeters

Jan-Willem Peeters has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. In 1991, they began their career at Royal Philips Electronics, where they held various HR roles, including Manager of Human Resources. Jan-Willem worked on projects in different divisions within Philips, such as Domestic Appliances & Personal Care, Media, Sound & Vision, and Business Electronics.

From 1999 to 2004, Peeters worked as a Senior Consultant at GITP International. During this time, they worked on organization, leadership, and HR projects for prominent organizations, including SABIC Europe, Philips Electronics, ASML, Campina, Van Lanschot Bankiers, and Wolters-Noordhoff.

In 2004, Peeters joined SABIC Europe as the Director of People & Organization Development. Jan-Willem played a crucial role in the establishment and growth of the company after its acquisition of DSM Petrochemicals. Jan-Willem led the professionalization of the HR function, organizational capabilities, and leadership culture. Peeters also led the integration of Huntsman UK Petrochemicals and the acquisition of GE Plastics, contributing to the development of one integrated HR approach for SABIC.

In 2009, Peeters moved to Danone, where they held various HR leadership positions. Jan-Willem served as Global Organization Development Director at Danone Baby Nutrition and was responsible for defining HR strategy and organization in Asia, with a particular focus on China. Jan-Willem also served as HR Director for Danone Dairy in the Asia Pacific, Middle East & Southern Africa region, overseeing HR operations in more than 20 markets and driving significant growth in net sales and employee count. Peeters also served as Acting HR Director for Danone Dairy China, leading the transformation and rightsizing of the business.

In 2013, Peeters joined Perfetti Van Melle as the Senior HR Director for China. Jan-Willem later became the Senior HR Director for the Asia Pacific region, overseeing operations in several countries and contributing to the success of well-known confectionery brands. Peeters left Perfetti Van Melle in 2018.

In 2018, Peeters founded BOLDmoves, where they currently work as a Founder and Senior Consultant. Jan-Willem provides consulting services to clients, leveraging their extensive experience in HR, organization development, and leadership.

Since 2021, Peeters has taken on additional roles. Jan-Willem is an Associate Senior Executive Coach at AIIR Consulting, a business psychology consulting firm focused on increasing organizational effectiveness and performance. Jan-Willem is also a member of the Advisory Board at Futureworks Capital Partners.

Jan-Willem Peeters holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Radboud University, which they obtained from 1984 to 1990. Before that, they attended Dongemond College from 1978 to 1984, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
