Product Manager at AIKO - Autonomous Space Missions

Paolo M. has been working in the field of space missions and research since 2014. Paolo began their career as a Trainee at the University of London Observatory in 2014. In 2015, they worked as an Astronomical Observatory of Palermo for INAF - Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Visiting Student Researcher (VSR) at Caltech and then a Research Scholar - Laboratory Assistant from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they are a Product Manager and Mission Autonomy Engineer at AIKO - Autonomous Space Missions.

Paolo M. has an extensive education history. Paolo obtained a Diploma di maturità from Istituto Gonzaga (ex Centro Educativo Ignaziano) in 2012. Paolo then earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics from Università degli Studi di Palermo in 2015. In 2016, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Astronomy & Astrophysics from Sapienza Università di Roma. In 2019, they earned a Master of Advanced Studies (M.A.S.) in Satellites and Orbiting Platforms from Sapienza Università di Roma. Paolo also attended several workshops and summer schools, including the ESA ECSS Standardization Training Course, the Summer School Alpbach: The Dusty Universe, the 2nd Advanced School on Exoplanetary Science - "Astrophysics of Exoplanetary Atmospheres", the ESA's Concurrent Engineering Workshop, and the XV Vatican Observatory Summer School (VOSS). Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Product Strategy from Kellogg Executive Education, Algorithms Specialization by Stanford University from Coursera, and TOEFL iBT from ETS.
