Nathanael Couperus

Nathanael Couperus is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Engineering Project Manager and Senior Infrastructure Planning Technologist with the City of Barrie since May 2018. Simultaneously, Nathanael has been an Engineering Assistant at Ainley Group since August 2015, providing support for the Water Resources Engineers on various drainage projects, including the Highway 407 East Extension. Nathanael holds a Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where a Master's thesis focused on microbial contaminant modeling in water bodies was completed. Additional experience includes research roles at both the University of Waterloo and Water Institute, where significant contributions were made to water research advocacy and project design.
