Cristina Gonzalez Gonzalo

Cristina Gonzalez Gonzalo has a diverse work experience background. Cristina is currently working as a Clinical Program Manager at Aiosyn since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a PhD Candidate at the QurAI Group at the Universiteit van Amsterdam from October 2020 to December 2021. In this role, they focused on automated screening of retinal diseases using deep learning. Cristina was also a PhD Candidate at the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group at Radboudumc from October 2017 to December 2021. Before pursuing their PhD, they had a curricular internship at the Cardiology Service of Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre from February 2017 to April 2017, where they gained experience in various areas of cardiovascular imaging. Additionally, they had a curricular internship at the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from March 2016 to June 2016.

Cristina Gonzalez Gonzalo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Audiovisual Systems Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, completing their studies in 2017. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Convolutional Neural Networks, Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Neural Networks and Deep Learning. These certifications were obtained from Coursera in 2018 and cover various aspects of machine learning and neural networks. Cristina also obtained a certification in Python 101 from IBM Cognitive Class in 2017. Lastly, in 2014, Cristina obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in English (C2) from Cambridge Assessment English.
