Robert York

Chief Mission Advancement Officer at Air Force Aid Society

Robert York has a diverse background in fundraising and philanthropy. Robert is currently working as the Chief of Mission Advancement Officer at the Air Force Aid Society. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Development at NMAC, where they secured grant awards totaling $34 million and diversified funding streams. Robert also worked as the Senior Director of Foundation Relations at the National Quality Forum and as the Director of Philanthropy at Casey Health Institute.

Before their roles in development and philanthropy, York served as the Deputy Director of Development at Whitman-Walker Health, where they managed major and planned gift programs. Robert also worked as a Director of External Affairs at The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network and as the Director of Corporate Partnerships at ASBO International.

York's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Special Events and Cause Marketing at the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., and as the Executive Director of Capital Pride and AIDSWalk Washington at Whitman-Walker Clinic. Additionally, they have experience as a consultant, owning their own consulting firm called Cocker Productions, LLC.

Robert York attended the University of Central Oklahoma from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations.
