Noshin Nawar-Hermosillo is a Plasma Scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory, involved in designing plasma sources and custom optical setups for ion velocity measurements, utilizing laser ablation to study plasma dynamics. Noshin has held various roles, including a Phillips Scholar internship focused on plasma diagnostics at the Space Force, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas, contributing to publications and mechanical design projects. Previous internships include experiences at NASA, where Noshin served as Lead Engineer for a micro-G balance device and developed critical systems for astronaut performance. Noshin possesses a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace concentration from the University of Arkansas.
