Vici Thahir

Food Scientist at Air Protein

Vici Thahir has worked in a variety of roles in the food industry, beginning with a Business Assistant Director role at UC Davis Picnic Day in 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Food Service Worker at UC Davis Student Housing and Dining Services, a Student Tutor and Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis, and an Undergraduate Laboratory Assistant at the UC Davis Olive Center. In 2020, they worked as a Product Development Intern at Shrimply Blue, a Food Science Contest Coordinator at FFA Field Day UC Davis, and began a role as a Food Safety & Production Quality Intern at Organic Valley. Vici is currently a Food Scientist at Air Protein, beginning in 2022.

Vici Thahir is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from the University of California, Davis, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, they are also pursuing a Minor in Statistics from the same institution. In September 2019, Vici obtained an ANSI Accredited ServSafe California Food Handler certification from the National Restaurant Association.
