Andrew Conley

Andrew Conley has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2009 when they were a Canadian Government Laboratory Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. In 2010, they were a Senior Scientist, Metabolic Engineering and Synthetic Biology, Industrial Biotechnology at VTT, and in 2013 they were a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University's Department of Genetics, Harvard Medical School. From 2015-2022, they were at Lygos, first as Director of Metabolic Engineering and then as VP of Biotechnology R&D. Currently, they are the Chief Scientific Officer at Air Protein.

Andrew Conley received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from Western University in 2009. Andrew also earned two Bachelor's Degrees from Western University in 2004, one in Genetics and one in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering. In addition, they hold a Certified Project Manager IPMA Level C certification from the International Project Management Association.
