Marc-Philippe Lumpé

Marc-Philippe Lumpé, PhD, serves as a Board Member for the National Airlines Council of Canada since November 2022 and holds the position of Chief Operations Officer at Air Transat since June 2022, overseeing the Operations Division, which includes Flight Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. Additionally, Marc-Philippe Lumpé has been a Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University since March 2009 and holds the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the German Air Force Reserve. Previous roles include Director at AlixPartners focusing on turnaround and restructuring, Senior Vice President of Airline Operations at Virgin Atlantic, and multiple leadership positions at Qatar Airways, including Vice President of Crew Resources and Integrated Operations Center.
