Yihan Jiang

Yihan Jiang has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego, where they were involved in teaching and assisting with courses related to wireless embedded systems. They also volunteered as a TA for a capstone project. After that, Yihan worked as an Engineer at Qualcomm, where they gained practical experience in engineering. Following this, they joined Google as a Research Intern, contributing to research projects during their time there. Yihan then pursued their graduate studies at the University of Washington, where they worked as a Graduate Student. During this time, they also had the opportunity to intern at Aira Technologies, where they played a pivotal role as a Founding Research Engineer in building AI for communication products. Yihan Jiang has a strong education background in the field of electrical engineering. They began their academic journey at Beijing Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, Yihan pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at UC San Diego, from 2012 to 2014. Most recently, Yihan attended the University of Washington from 2016 to 2021, where they completed their higher education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. Their research focused on Deep Learning, Federated Learning, and Communications.
