Surya Sankar

Surya Sankar has worked in the software engineering field for over a decade. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer for Airbase. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at Inkmonk, where they were the Co-Founder and Product Developer, as well as the Head of Software Development. Surya'srole at Inkmonk included meeting with stakeholders, sketching out feature requirements, planning and executing launches, designing db schemas and backend APIs, and more. In 2013, they founded Karpeer, an online courseware startup for entrance examinations and UG courses, which was discontinued due to lack of interest. From 2011 to 2010, Surya Sankar worked at Amazon.com as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they prepared test scenarios for Kindle Fire and contributed to an internal test automation framework for Kindle. Finally, from 2010 to 2011, they were an Associate Software Engineer for Quality Assurance for McAfee Software India Pvt Ltd.

Surya Sankar received a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli between 2006 and 2010. Prior to that, they attended Sakthi Vinayakar Hindu Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School.
