Rich Baer

Rich Baer oversees Airbnb’s global legal and ethics functions, and initiatives to become a 21st Century company that is responsible to all stakeholders.

Rich is experienced in leading legal teams of large, fast-growing public companies with a wide range of complex matters at the intersection of law, business and society. Prior to joining Airbnb, Rich led the legal teams at Liberty Media, United Health and Qwest Communications. Named by the National Law Journal as one of the country’s top general counsels, throughout his career Rich has focused on making the legal community more diverse and inclusive.

Rich is a graduate of Columbia University and Duke University School of Law, and is an Airbnb Experience host.
