David Smith

David Smith has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. David started their career as a Senior System Engineer at Raytheon Canada Ltd, where they were responsible for requirements analysis and system design. David then became a Team Lead for the Systems Engineering Requirements and Design Team. Later, they served as the System Engineering Manager at the same company, overseeing all system engineering activities.

Moving on, David joined Raytheon as a Technical Consultant and Business Development Support, providing technical guidance and supporting new business activities. David also worked as a Business Development Manager for ATC systems in the Asia Pacific region, focusing on ATC automation and promoting surveillance and navigation solutions.

David further expanded their expertise as an independent consultant before becoming an Aviation Business Consultant at Asia Pacific Aviation. In this role, they worked on bid and project management, as well as consultancy on aviation-related technical and operational matters.
