Mary O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Mary most recently worked at Airservices Australia as the Head of Project Change Communications, where they were responsible for driving the implementation of the Engagement and Communication Plan for the OneSKY Program. Prior to that, Mary was the OneSKY Lead Engagement Specialist, also at Airservices Australia, and played a key role in the complex transformation of Air Traffic Management in Australia.

Before joining Airservices Australia, Mary worked as the Commercial Customer Relationship Manager at Urban Utilities. Mary also gained experience as the Major Project Communications Manager at Irish Water and as an Independent Communications Consultant at the Division of the Department of Science, Information Technology, Innovation and the Arts.

Earlier in their career, Mary held the position of Marketing and Communications Manager – Drought Task Force at Brisbane City Council and served as the Consumer Affairs Manager at the Commission for Communications Regulation.

Mary O'Brien has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the Marketing Institute Ireland.
