Nik Zisk has a long history of work experience in the geospatial and information technology fields. Nik began their career in 1997 as a Computer Analyst and 4066 Small Computer Systems Specialist in the United States Marine Corps, where they served and discharged honorably with the rank of Sgt. In 2003, they began working as a GIS Analyst for the Toledo-Lucas County Auditors Office. Nik then moved to Esri in 2007, where they worked as a Geospatial Technical Analyst, performing cartographic work and support for new and ongoing projects. In 2011, they joined GISInc as a Senior GIS Analyst and Solutions Engineer, generating cartographic basemap enhancements and designing and testing Spatial ETL tools for data migration. Nik then moved to the North Carolina Department of Information Technology in 2016, where they held the role of Mobile Systems Support Group Manager, supporting geospatial mobile applications and solutions, unmanned platforms, imagery collection, and processing for the State of North Carolina. In 2020, they joined Concepts Beyond as a Program Manager, and they currently hold the same role at Airspace Link, Inc.
Nik Zisk attended The University of Toledo from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a BA in Geography & Planning with a Minor in Anthropology.
