Head Budget Compliance And Operations at Airtel Uganda

Grace Kaggwa has a diverse work experience in various companies. Grace recently worked at Airtel Uganda as the Head of Budget Compliance and Operations. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Compliance and Analysis - Customer Experience at the same company. Their responsibilities included developing critical analysis of call center costs and efficiency, managing partner contracts and invoices, standardizing reports, conducting audits, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Before joining Airtel Uganda, Grace worked at FINCA Uganda as an Operational Risk Officer, where they implemented and managed risk management procedures and trained staff in operational risk. Grace also worked as a Business Analyst at FINCA Uganda, where they maintained policies and procedures, monitored regulatory changes, and administered policy review committees. Grace started their career at Equity Bank Limited, where they served as a Compliance Officer and later as a Banking Officer.

Grace Kaggwa completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Project and Risk Management from Makerere University Business School. Grace attended the university from 2012 to 2014. Prior to earning their MBA, Grace obtained a Bachelor's degree in Development Economics from Makerere University, although the specific start and end years are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Grace has obtained various certifications. In 2015, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from FINCA International. In 2023, Grace obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification – Level II from the International Six Sigma Institute™. Grace also received a Verified International Academic Qualifications certificate from the World Education Services in June 2023.
