Ítalo Garcia

Ítalo Garcia has seven years of professional experience in software engineering. Ítalo began their career in 2014 as a Security Analyst Intern at Samsung (SIDI). In 2016, they moved to Tapps as a Software Engineer. In 2018, they joined QuintoAndar as a Software Engineer, followed by Talkdesk in 2019. In 2020, they were a Software Engineer at Zalando SE and a Co-Founder at TrendPrix. Ítalo is currently a Security Software Engineer at Aiven, a position they started in 2022.

Ítalo Garcia received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas between 2011 and 2016. Ítalo also attended the University of Toronto between 2013 and 2014, where they studied Computer Science. In addition, they have four verified certificates from Coursera in the areas of Hardware Security, Cryptography, Software Security, and Usable Security, obtained in 2015, 2015, 2014, and 2014 respectively.
