Alena Kosava

Alena is Head of Investment Research at AJ Bell, focusing on analysing AJ Bell’s core investment solutions across the business, including its MPS, its funds and the favourite funds list. She joins from Avellemy Investment Management where she was Head of Collectives, with responsibility for developing and strengthening Avellemy’s in-house investment due diligence capabilities, manager selection, and management of the £3.1 billion in-house Avellemy MPS and fund ranges. Prior to that, Alena spent under eight years in the Multi-Asset Multi-Manager Chief Central Investment Office at Tilney Smith & Williamson (TSW), including as Director of Equity and Alternative Strategies. Before joining TSW, she worked as a research analyst at SunGard Asset Management. Alena holds a BA (Hons) in Management & Finance (1st) and an MSc in Investment & Finance (Distinction). She is a CFA and CAIA charter holder and is a Chartered FSCI. She has recently qualified with a CFA ESG Charter.
