Tessa Ente Barnes

Tessa Ente Barnes is an accomplished professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in business development and project management. Currently serving as Director of New Business Development at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services since April 2017, Tessa manages business development for the San Diego facility with a focus on the West Coast US and Asia. Prior to this role, Tessa held several positions within Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma, including Project Manager and Technical Proposal Writer, where responsibilities included managing drug product manufacturing and coordinating client interactions to support proposal processes. Previous experience includes roles at Althea as an Associate Technical Proposal Writer and Executive Assistant to the President & CEO, as well as positions as a Research Associate and Administrative Assistant at Caliber Associates and Kyowa Hakko Kirin California, Inc., respectively. Tessa's educational background includes studies at Brandman University, Ojai Valley School, and Whittier College.
