Kyle Johnson has a diverse range of experience in the arts and culture industry. Kyle began their career in 2008 as a Box Office Supervisor at the Watford Palace Theatre. Kyle then moved on to the Gaiety Theatre, where they served as the Group Sales and Marketing Manager, overseeing the development and management of the group sales business and implementing marketing strategies. In 2012, they worked as a Marketing Intern at the Barbican Centre, supporting marketing campaigns for the Creative Learning programme. From 2013 to 2014, Kyle worked as a Digital Marketing Executive at Alienation Digital, where they focused on digital marketing strategies. Kyle then joined The National Theatre as a Box Office Supervisor and later as the Administrative Assistant to the Directors, providing support and administration to the Directors and Associates. At Descent Theatre, Kyle served as the Marketing Coordinator, controlling the marketing budget and managing campaigns. Kyle also worked at 59E59 Theaters, first as a Press and Marketing Associate, handling marketing and press duties for non-profit off-Broadway venue, and later as a Marketing Manager, developing marketing campaign plans and implementing digital marketing strategies. Currently, Kyle is working at AKA as the Media Director, planning and executing cross-channel media plans for arts and culture institutions and Broadway productions. Kyle collaborates with account and media teams, develops media plans with multimillion-dollar budgets, and optimizes and reports based on client objectives. Overall, Kyle has gained valuable experience in marketing, digital marketing, press, and media in the arts and culture industry.

Kyle Johnson began their education at Eggbuckland Community College from 2003 to 2005. Following this, they attended the University of Oxford from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a BA (Hons) in History and Politics. In 2011, Kyle enrolled at Goldsmiths, University of London for a one-year program, obtaining an MA in Brand Development. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate certificate from Facebook in June 2020. Additionally, Kyle earned the Google Ads Search Certification, Google Ads Video Certification, and Google Ads Display Certification from Google Ads in May 2020.
